Are kalpas like Super Mario Galaxy?

That's not exactly what he says.

Whatever, you're being pedantic and you know it. "Perhaps this world is simply the Egg of the next kalpa?" is exactly the point of my entire post.

Part of the problem is, I don't think Kirkbride knows what he envisions, and I am almost positive Bethesda doesn't.

Don't try to psychoanalyze people. Unless you're a dev or an ex-dev, your opinion on what the devs may or may not know means nothing to me.

MK has presented numerous different statements about time and Kalpas and the cosmology, many of which are barely more than stream of consciousness, and many of which are openly contradictory.

Show me an example of two of his statements that are contradictory.

Convention is an unassailable point, except it's not.

We've been over this.

I've noticed that you've taken this approach of "we don't know how the cosmology works and every interpretation is as valid as any other" but I strongly think some interpretations are more well-founded on evidence than others. Some of the models you listed aren't based on any of the lore whatsoever, ingame or otherwise.

I'm not against presenting multiple interpretations of the same thing, but it seems like you're just using it as a convenient excuse to hide the fact that some theories are based on no evidence whatsoever.
