Only time I have ever picked up someone else's trash was one morning before school, was with my mates, saw the principal walking in our direction from a while away, as you do heart rate picks up and stop doing whatever dumb shit you were doing, I spot an empty chip packet and orange on the principals trajectory, wait for him to get close and pick it up right in front of him. He asked if that was my rubbish I said no, he praised me asked my name and said he will remember this. First time ever a teacher was proud of me and probably the last. I like to think my efforts didn't go unrewarded and he bumped up my grades, but he probably forgot I existed 10 minutes later.
