Why are so many people still obsessed with Hillary Clinton and her emails?

Could she be a household name because trump won’t fucking give it up?

Maybe. I don't care about Hilary Clinton and her emails (at the moment). I'm still a Trump supporter. If Trump focuses on Hilary I don't really care either as long as he's doing the trade-war against China and re-negotiating NAFTA.

Right, exactly! The way you feel right now about Jeb! is the way the majority of Dems feel about Trump bringing Hillary up again and again! Hillary doesn’t represent politics for a significant faction of leftists in this country (interchangeable with “Democrats” to many, unfortunately/confusingly) just like Jeb! doesn’t for Trump supporters. Now imagine if Trump refused to stop talking about how sad Jeb!’s performance was in the election, or Cruz’s.

So the majority of Dems feel that lowly about Hillary? All those people that voted for Hillary, more in absolute number than Trump, think that low of Hillary? That's amazing because I feel Hillary had much much more potential than JEB! Trump just attacks whoever opposes him, he'll do it to JEB!, to Cruz, to people that work(ed) with/for him, doesn't matter. (I know the majority of Dems don't feel that low about Hillary, as much as the majority of Republicans that think JEB! is a joke, I was just teasing. I appreciate that you haven't attacked me personally. If I was going against some Trump supporters, some would be throwing me under the bus.)

Ideally. The question is still in the air as to whether they’ll go Establishment or put their stock in Sanders’s crew.

Please don't go Sanders. I was pro-Bernie, but I don't think he's cut out for today's politics. I think Joe Biden would be a powerhouse if he ran (problem is he might just duplicate Obama, so the Right will tear into him hard), but I respect that he says he won't run unless he knows he can commit 100%.

Wait—are you insinuating she’s somehow still a political threat to Trump? He’s the president!

Yup. Her roots spread deep into the Democratic party. Hillary might drop being the front-women, but if she has anything to gain (at least the dignity to defend herself), she'll push back.

I think I’d possibly vote Lindsay Graham, or maybe Carly Fiorina ... Shit—I answered that last one wrong, didn’t I?

Shit - I got you to suggest that maybe you are wrong. Are you being sarcastic, or what. All I can admit is: touché

That’s kind of intellectually dishonest on your part, isn’t it? I don’t hate trump’s actions because he’s trump.

I appreciate that you didn't just accuse me of being dishonest, but you put it into a question. If you truly meant it as a question and not direct jab, then I hope there are more Democrats like you. At some point, whether 2 years, 6 years, or 10 years down the line, the Republicans will slip and people like you will be what brings the Independents back to the Democratic side.
