YOU ARE NOT DEPRESSED!

With a guided meditation it kind of helps to direct your mind elsewhere. I can see how people keep doing that shit. But I can also see how it can allow some people to ruminate in depressive thoughts. It’s not supposed to be some hocus-pocus depression cure, but it can help in calming someone down and it can help to learn how to redirect your ways of thinking, if only for 20 minutes. But it isn’t for everyone and isn’t a replacement for therapy

Just use meditation as imagining yourself not at the center of attention. You can basically start walking around outside in your mind listening to birds talk to cars passing by while still being in your bed.

The problem is, if the depression is extreme enough, this is impossible to do because it takes a bit of concentration.
