I feel you. I grew up in north highlands and Del paso. Driving around with my neighbor and friends that are black, we were pulled over and they were questioned as passengers, pulled out of the car, the usual bullshit. I’ve had a gun pulled on me a few times by the cops. Once while I was literally sitting waiting for the bus, pulled a smoke and light out and was forced to the ground. So much work to be done. I’m a white guy but man, I’ve been there with you in my years living in sac so many times. Never trusted the cops. Lived next to one back then and he was constantly yelling at his wife. I’m sure he beat her. It’s insane. Accountability for killer cops should not be a radical idea.
