Why are people letting their massively underage kids play Rec Room?

I think that kids think they play games against other kids. They tend not to realize that they are playing with grown adults.

I've played games online pretty much my whole life growing up and I'd say this is true. I remember when diablo 2 came out and I was playing it online, I was probably 10ish at the time and the thought that I was playing with adults never crossed my mind.

In fact I remember being probably around 9 or 10 and playing Team Fortress Classic when someone in chat claimed to be 2 years old to troll. I didn't really know when toddlers were able to actually start doing stuff like playing games so I just kind of believed him.

The internet was a crazy place back then but it's even crazier now. I'm 25 and I see my cousin who is quoting 4chan memes and I just can't believe it.
