Why are people on Kijiji such scumbags?

Oh man... The idiots I've dealt with in that site. I'll give you three situations where I was beyond livid.

1. I had a MacBook Pro I was selling for $1,300. It was the lowest model with the lower specs. I had bought 3 year warranty for it so all together it came to roughly $1,700. I sold it just a couple months after I bought it. So I got a response at the time, the guy agreed to pay that amount and was driving all the way from Toronto to Pickering. I was waiting for this guy to arrive for so long. His excuse was there was so much traffic. Bullshit. When he arrived, he examined the macbook, he was seemed pretty satisfied with the condition of it. This asshole takes out his phone and shows me a picture he took of the price tag at best buy which was around $1,100 cause they were having a sale on them. He wanted me to sell it to him for that price. I said buddy, this laptop cost me $1,700 for it brand new with the warranty. All the sudden he decides to just get up and leave because he didn't feel "comfortable about it"

2 I had a Nexus 5 for sale for $200. Again, everything seemed okay with the person for the price. They arrive, it's a mother, son, and daughter. They examine the phone, they are fine with the condition of it. I tell him her daughter will need a new SIM card cause the phone she had, the SIM card wasn't compatible with it. I said you can get one for $10 from your carrier. ON TOP OF THAT, they wanted to deduct another $10 for a case. I said I'm not paying for your daughters SIM card, or case. That's your responsibility. I am not allowing you to low ball for me such bullshit like that. They give me the $200 and left.

3. This one puts the cherry on the cake. I had a dell laptop worth about $1,000 brand new. Put it on there for $800. Again, I was under the impression that $800 for the laptop was fine with the buyer. He arrives, checks out the laptop, he's fine with it, and then takes out the money. He says, since this computer doesn't have a cd drive, I may need to buy an external for about $100 from BestBuy. Can you please deduct $100. I said no, you knew the specs of the laptop before you came. The ad had a link to best buy that had the specs for it. I'm not paying for your external cd drive. He kept going on and on about it. I was ready to kick him out of my apartment. He eventually gave up and gave me the full $800. After all that, he takes out a piece of paper from his binder that basically said everything I said about the computer is true, the specs, etc. Sign here. I have never EVER seen this bullshit in my life. I sign it because I am fed up with the guy. He leaves. After that I go to work, and get home late at night. I had an email in my inbox from him saying he was sorry for hassling me about the price and that he didn't understand the value of the laptop. I told him I appreciated the email he sent me.

Yup, I had quite the encounters on that site. Sorry if there were grammar problems. Typing this half asleep.
