Why are people still going to boot camps / switching to tech?

Even "reputable" bootcamps like HackReactor stopped publishing job placement results in after 2019 and changed their Income Share Agreements to be (imo) predatory. Many of these bootcamps were taken over by new ownership. They're taking advantage of peoples desperation. Its totally disgusting.

For those no degree at all who cant afford to spend 4 years on school, a better route is going to school, interning, using that experience to find full time work, and dropping out. I and 2 others I know did this. We're all on our 2nd/3rd jobs and work at f500s now. The backup plan is simply getting a degree, which is far better than being stuck with a predatory ISA and a dunce cap in disguise.
