Why are people still racist? What science says about America’s race problem.

This is the fall of the "I can't see it, it's not real" emotion you have. You're not questioning anything I'm purposing

That is exactly what I am doing. Since the link you provided went nowhere I did a bit of Googling and had a look at some studies on "social capital".

Here is a salient bit from one:

As in the case of those earlier concepts, the point is approaching at which social capital comes to be applied to so many events and in so many different contexts as to lose any distinct meaning.

No kidding. Like when someone decides to extrapolate their own inane conclusions from "studies" on this already entirely subjective notion.

hell you're close minded entirely to what i'm trying to say

I actually conceded that I could see how say language barriers could put a drag on "social capital", then extrapolated from there, but you studiously ignored that in your truculent zeal here.

and instead posing your faulty logic to it

Lol. What "faulty logic" exactly? This isn't an argument, it's just you making unsubstantiated assertions, calls to authority that you refuse to cite, posturing arrogantly and casting aspersions.

as I take its meaning from the studies I shared

So you keep saying. The one I linked to concludes from the outset that it has virtually no meaning at all. I tend to agree.

Or are you used to some bs article to tell you what they mean instead of the abstract blah blah

Again with the arrogant posturing. I did read the abstracts of 4 different studies on "social capital", and not one of those supported any of the assertions you wrote here. Nothing about diversity "destroying" social capital or any of your other assertions.

Cities are business epicenters because, simply, there's people.

Lol. Again: there goes your theory.

There's literally no other way to say it, lots of people, lots of capital.

But if your theory held a thimble full of water, the very presence of said people would be destroying the vital "social capital", and the more people the more it would be destroyed. Lol.

Doesn't mean it's functioning healthily as it could be.

Right. Where are you going with this shit? You are arguing against diversity, so it's pretty obvious. Tell you what, champ: I'll happily go without your precious "social capital" if it means living in some segregated, monochromatic culturally bereft wasteland.

Doesn't mean what YOU perceive or think is real is real.

Hahahaha! Good fuckin' grief. Yeah, I'm a hologram only I don't know it. This really puts meat on the bone of your social capital theories.

and considering London's recent spats against both polish and "asian" immigrants, yeah. Needing walls on your bridges will do that. Having to ban guns, then knives, now acids yeah that'll do it. But you'll brush that under the carpet or give some lame excuse for it, as it always goes.

Okay, you've shown your hand now. No surprise.

Guess i'll relink the studies here because you can't properly handle links.

Why? So I can piss yet more time away? You can't provide one cite from any of them that supports your theories.

and you have the gal to say

Yep. Because you have no counter argument for that.

Best of luck
