Are reviews mandatory?

Yep, but with most of our concerns I couldn't believe prior tenants didn't bring these issues up to the property manager. Instead of being a grump, help me out here. The reviews left by previous tenants were glowing. I am not being too particular BUT when the refrigerator is so old that the lights don't work, they've taped one of the shelves to the door to keep it in place, I step into the shower and step on some plastic, lights in the bathroom didn't work, blah, blah. Why pay a property manager when your not managing the property? A call has been placed to the property manager to discuss these issues prior to leaving our review. A 14 day limit may cut it close because my Luddite husband will be leaving a thoughtful review unlike yours. Thank you and have a nice day.
