Are Side Hustles the Best Kind of Asset Protection?

Me too. I started working part time as a tutor for statistical programming when I graduated and was looking for work. It really took off. Long story short I got a good full time job with benefits that gives me a lot of flexibility to tutor/train/consult. Work likes that I do the outside work because I learn so much working with people in diverse disciplines that I use with them. My tutoring/consulting people enjoy the technical skills I learn on the job. It’s a win win. These days I’m making more on my side hustle than my real job.

I get tired working so much, but I try and think of the money I make on the side as how much earlier I can retire. On a good month of part time employment I can shave almost a year off of my retirement. It’s so fucking crazy I can’t believe it. I treat it all as temporary and put a lot away. I don’t want to get used to it and spend a lot.
