Why are some states ending the $300 UI topper? I mean, why would they do that?

A tax increase can increase anything, sales, income, property, states, end of year. All they gotta do is raise it and that it. If the taxes go up for everyone over 400k a year (still unknown if family or individuals) the ones under the line still get effected. Maybe not by the income tax but we’ll see it around as the big ceos raise prices and/or drop employees cause they lost their ‘extra’ money. The world revolves around this green bill, the ceo loose more well sadly those who work for them will suffer too. Because sadly (not all the time, you get a few good ones) CEO’s will care more about the money they are loosing then the employees/customers
