Are state parks open ?

I've been to multiple parks over the past week that were not crowded at all and where it was easy to stay distant from others. Perkerson Park had some people but was very lightly populated. Whittier Mill Park today had like four families total in different areas. Before they closed it, Silver Comet was very lightly traveled. Whetstone Creek trail near us has maybe 20 people along its length at any given time. Going to check out Proctor Creek soon, but I suspect that one could be busier and we might skip it. I don't know how much real hiking you can get in at any of those, but you can at least get out and walk in the woods or on a trail.

All you have to do it leave midtown and the eastern suburbs where everyone is going out and go to some of the less-visited places. Not every outdoor place in the city is filled with crowds, contrary to the popular belief here. In fact, outside of the popular in-town areas, it's not difficult at all to find some space. There is no danger to anyone by being outside, but away from others. If you pull up to a park and it is crowded at all, leave. Find another one.
