Naxals today are different from Naxals yesterday. Whenever Razakars or Nizams came to try to takeover a temple, they are the first ones to respond. When the razakars were attacking villages before operation Polo, the naxals provided fire arms for my great grandfather to provide aid in protecting the village. But after few years, naxals became more like a local terror groups. There are also responsible for many of my grandmother relatives deaths. I remember her telling me that her uncle was participating in some election. When he was sleeping outside at night( during those days they slept outside), the naxals hired by someone came and stabbed his head with an axe. Next day his wife fainted seeing him in that state. Other incident was another uncle who owned around 150 acres of land. He bought those lands through hard work from agriculture. The naxals came many times and threatened him to give the land to poor. He didn't budge because he bought those lands with his own hardworking, why should he give? During his youngest son wedding, naxals came and took him. After few days, his body was cut up into 150 pieces, and each piece was kept on each acre of land. Sorry if this incident was a bit messed up
