Are you sure your string instrument can't surprise you anymore?

I'm sorry if i've offended you or disturbed the sub, but i really thought this sub would be the perfect place to discuss my app. Maybe you didn't understand but it's an app for any string instrument, including instruments that don't exist and can be used as a tool to help invent new instruments. Who makes new instruments and could make use of an app that tells them, beforehand, how easy/difficult the chords are going to be with a certain number of strings and a certain tuning? Aren't luthiers the people who do that (the more creative ones, at least)?

And if someone shares his/her new project with the "right" community of people (people he/she thought could be interested) and asks for discussion and support is that an ad? Or, at least, does that have the negative connotation we normally attribute to the word "ad"? I mean, if people are more happy than disturbed to know about this project, then isn't my contribution positive? Isn't this what matters in the end? Whether my contribution to this sub is or isn't a positive one?

Because my app is so specific, my target audience is so tiny that i thought this was the right place "reach them". Again, i humbly apologize if i disturbed you and will remove the post if that's what you want. Just trying to explain my point of view..
