Are there any Mexican towns similar to American college towns?

Yo, OP I'll let you finish researching what town you're looking for but Queretaro is all right! Arkansas State University is working on a satellite campus there that should be finished in the next few years, the public university of UAQ is okay notch, they offer solid programs all around... They have separation between upper and lower and you definitely can figure that out by looking at different areas and municipalities, but that is in the same way that others have been saying on here that "intelligentsia" does not exist. matter of fact; you have to find a group that you fit in with, albeit, the difficulty in Queretaro is like a game set to Low-mid. There is culture (or close to many options), much history, and with the right atmosphere you could cross out .5 to .85 of your desired points. but that .35 difference is really going to mean you know how to interact... Spanish is good... and really being out there and hitting libraries, museums, campuses, historic sites, etc... and making small talk in spanish of course.
