Why are there so many people who apparently have misophonia?

Apartments have been miserable but I’m young and still just trying to get through life. A house would be an absolute dream. Private property, get the hell off my lawn, that jazz.

That’s also really ironic because I grew up in a countryside area too where the only thing I heard all night was coyotes or the hounds and neither bothered me. When I moved into a city-ish area into my first apartment it was awful. Three dogs in my hallway would bark non stop at each other, my up stairs neighbor was a massive dude who always wore boots in every corner of his apartment. I left a note on a lady’s door once saying “hello, I have ptsd, your dog’s barking makes me pretty distraught after five hours and I would appreciate it if there was something we could do to decrease this and mitigate it, I don’t want to contact property management”. Something extremely close to those lines, and polite.

She called her single redneck 40 year old anger issues step son in and told him she feared for her life because a crazy mentally ill person was threatening her. So then he moved in. I moved out after a while. They would even scream and threaten property management. So I can’t say these apartments now are super bad.
