Are there more people for who financial independence is not the end game?

Your goal is kinda bullshit tbh.

Your children already can do whatever they want without “needing” to choose a lucrative job. Tons of people do so. Tons of people follow their dreams and don’t earn much money and are very happy about it. And tons of people have money and are miserable and kill themself.

I really strongly disagree with how you’ve framed money as some basic necessity which taken care of will improve quality of life. I believe that’s a total farce and misunderstanding of what’s important in life satisfaction and fulfillment.

If you truly want to raise happy children, the most important thing you can do is instill values of following interests and living by values and disregarding the sorts of material preoccupations you’ve alluded to hold.
