The oversexualisation and pedophilic genre of girls and women in manga or anime is a problem. You don't even have to look at niche anime popular online. It's right in front of you in mainstream girls comic magazines with ciao (or nakayoshi can't remember which) hiring an female manga artist who usually writes adult content.

Or another female manga artist overly sexualising her characters despite the magazine being catered to primary school students. And the weird popularisation of teachers and students. (which is common in YA too)

But that's not what OP was pointing out.

I find it offensive to how the question was phrased because it implies that liking anime in itself as weird or bad. Which to me sounds racist.
