I seriously don't understand where these cycling advocates come from. Do they live in NYC? Or do all 10000 cyclists hang out on Reddit all the time?

I was just walking around 14th Street in the snow and I don't see a single one of these brave coat wearing gloves equipped cyclists on the street. Not. A. Single. One. Of. Them.

And yet the bike lanes just sit there empty hogging up space and giving me paranoia that someone's gonna salmon up the wrong way.

I look outside my window all the time in Bushwick, the supposedly hip neighborhood, and again, not a single cyclist past by. Even the seamless guys had (ahem) downgraded to cars these days somehow.

Where are these cyclists?????
