Why are womens panties so much comfier than mens boxers??

Whaaat? Women’s clothes are either skin tight sausage wrappers, ambivalently shaped/completely shapeless, or too small in the shoulders and too wide in the stomach. And don’t get me started on pants. Men’s clothing is so sharp, it hangs cleanly and doesn’t bulge in weird places.

Even in my pre-HRT pre-op body, men’s clothes fit me 100x better. I could never buy anything women’s online and I’d have to try on a hundred pairs of pants before I could find one that wasn’t unbearable. Shirts were a nightmare. Since I gave up and switched to men’s, I can grab almost anything in my size and be assured it will fit me reasonably well.

Women’s products smell offensively floral and sweet without exception. And how are you supposed to not catch analysis paralysis trying to decide what to buy? Get one men’s 3-in-1 and you’re all set and smell good, boom.

All joking aside, before Reddit I never realised how much of this came down to gender. I didn’t understand why everyone didn’t just shop men’s, but I guess I got my answer. Apparently women’s clothes and underthings actually are comfortable if you’re a woman, who knew?
