The Area 51 Raid exemplified millennial culture.

This is rather difficult to explain, but when millennials talk or debate or have another discussion about the important issues or outrage culture, my first and immediate assumption is that nothing will ever actually come from another discussion. I assume millennials will talk, and then nothing will occur. I don't even have the faith or expectation that anything will move beyond just talk.

In a similar way, events like 9/11 and the JFK assassination reaffirm for me that the same people who held power in the 1960s still hold and wield power today. Those same people who wield all that power can never be prospected for anything, by anyone, ever. No matter how much it costs, no matter how many lives are lost, that group of people are, for lack of a better term, untouchable.
