The Seahawks are now the #2 team in the NFL in overall DVOA and #1 in Weighted DVOA (which puts extra emphasis on recent performance).
Seahawks are the 4th best passing offense by DVOA and the 2nd best rushing offense. They are 1st in Weighted Offensive DVOA.
And of course don't forget our D which is sliding its way up from top 5 back up to the best in the NFL statistically in almost every category.
Oh and unlike 2014, we have a top 10 (potentially top 5) ST again.
And Superbowl pedigree and the hottest QB in the NFL right now and Marshawn Lynch is probably back healthy and fresh by Week 17 or the first playoff game. Our O-line is playing much better, our Defense is back hot, our Offense is hotter than it has ever been...
and did you see how we epicly destroyed the same Vikings team that 4 days later hung in with the Cards till the last second? We had a defensive shutout on the Vikings, allowing 18 yards rushing by AP and 118 yards passing by Teddy. Not to mention our "game manager" offense without Jimmy and Beastmode put up a nasty 38 points on them while the Cards fought to put up 23.
They have Fitz? We have Doug. They have Honeybadger? We have ETIII. We have Kam, we have Bobby & KJ & Bruce and our sweet pass rush that just had rookie Frank Clark emerge to earn a starting spot at DT with 2 sacks on Teddy on Sunday (3 sacks on the year). The Cards have Brown? We have Lockett.
Overall while we might be coming in through the 5th seed, every team in the NFC still has to go through us, the reigning NFC Champions who are getting hot at the right time.
