He’s exactly right. I had a parrot who I’d bring around with me in Sacramento sometimes, and once he hopped down and wandered into a 7-Eleven. He had previously been banned from the shop because he has a bit of a potty mouth (not my fault, my sister would curse in front of Pete the parrot all the time) and would steal doritos bags. The owner knew as soon as he walked back in that it was Pete and he called the police. He literally hated that bird. So I ran in and got Pete, but had to wait for the police because he was charging a formal complaint. Pete was charged with trespassing. Once I got home, a bag of Doritos came out of his anus and the DA slapped additional charges on him. He died in prison.
