The amount of disinformation/justifications that Armenians here are posting on this thread is ridiculous.... all I can say to anyone who is not Armenian and who is not Turk, if you want the truth or the closest thing to it - go and read sources from both sides.

In my view, the Armenian side is getting desperate as mostly likely they're probably going to lose the war. By attacking Ganja in this manner they can bait an attack from Azerbaijan to Armenia proper thereby causing a Russian intervention in Armenia's favour. Everything is planned and its the citizens on both side who pay.

Lastly, half the comments from Armenians here are bringing up the Armenian genocide that happened 100 years ago.... is that how you justify something in 2020? Just admit Azerbaijan shouldnt be bombing Stepanakert and you shouldnt be dropping missles on Azerbaijans second biggest city.

I had a hope this war would lead to a sharing of the disputed territory but now that both sides have committed war crimes, I'm losing that hope, if they could co-exist peacefully we wouldnt be here.
