So, I was let go for being disabled, from a research job. I was in a wheelchair and it got some negative feedback from foreign visitors. (I would sometimes interact with international costumers.) I was also pregnant, injured at work on workman’s comp, and on FMLA. I have a Muslim name and lived in a white mostly Mormon community.

I could not get a lawyer to take my case, even though I have some decent evidence and awesome documentation/paper trail. I contacted at least 35 attorneys, and spoke with at least 15 over an hour.

I thought it would be clear, and that I had some rights in the US. Guess not, so I moved on. I had to take a job 5 months later 1,500 miles away, this made the legal fight useless.
