I was arrested today

Firstly, I don't think it's good that you've now assumed he 'beat' her. A single hit isn't a beating. Assuming he's not leaving out details. I've hit my mother before as a teen but I didn't beat her. Secondly, when there's no charges pressed by the victim, what do you expect to happen?

Anyway, I don't like however from OPs post how he described it as "not very cool, forgot to take my meds" as if it's not a very big deal--it is. And I hope that meds are not the only prevention to this behavior. He needs to take this extremely seriously and sounds like he potentially is towards the end of the post.

If you want people to get better you need to treat them like people. And potentially exaggerating their actions doesn't help.
