The Art of Defending - Early Abramovich Era.

It was fun, but let's not pretend it didn't also have issues. Yeah we ignored them because of all the winning but second season Jose especially was a bit of a grind. There's no doubt in my mind that it's harder to win playing attacking football to defensive, hence the word "philosophy" that's thrown around so often, these guys don't want to just win, they want to win with style. Just as with Sarri last season attacking threat and style always comes at a cost of stability, and vice versa, it's nearly always a balancing act with football and there's always going to be something to have a go at. If I'm being honest, I've seen us win everything so I really don't mind if we don't ever again, but if we do it would be nice to win it with style, I think I'd rather win 4-3 or lose 3-4 under Frank than go back to those solid but slightly boring days, only because I've seen that already really.
