     Factotum was created in a lonely wizard tower, in a remote town, by a recluse wizard. Factotum begins life suddenly blinking into consciousness. In its first couple months it does what it's told, and basically not much else. The wizard notices this, and the natural professor in him decides that the basic knowledge infused into the Warforged awakening spell was not enough. So the wizard lends the machine books from his not too modest library.      Factotum reads and reads, taking books with him everywhere. A year passes and he, he now thinks of himself as he, has asked Gathlideon to train him in the arcane arts. In this time he also developed his skill as a tinkerer, storing books and tools in watertight compartments built into his thighs, chest, and forearms. The Warforged receives 2 gifts from his master, a large metal bound book that fits neatly into his chest compartment, and a wand freshly made from a tough desert tree and fitted with a crystalline core. He learns his first spell, find familiar, and summons himself a little brown and grey mottled owl with large round yellow eyes and long ear tufts. He names her Misty.
