Artemis is the perfect hunter

I was actually thinking about how to fix this problem... She doesn't need an escape, her problem ultimately comes down to - she can't sustain in lane early-game due to high mana costs and low damage output.

The fix? Give her a death's toll effect on her steroid. She can't escape, but she can be rewarded for playing smart by having better sustain than most other hunters without needing to spend that 800 gold on death's toll. Give it a small increase over the ranks and you can allow her to save money on pots and a starter item which will allow her to reach late game faster AND give her a reason to level her 2 instead of her 3 for her primary laning ability.

Since the 2 has the movement speed buff as well, this gives her the much needed early-game mobility she often lacks too, but adds a challenge of "Do I use this to engage, disengage, or sustain?"

I'm not talking about lifesteal here (Looking at you, Cernunnos). I'm talking about basic attacks giving her a set number of health and mana back per shot WHILE she has her steroid up, with a small scale to it as well. Say rank 1 is the same as double death's toll start (16 HP + 8 MP) and it scales up to Rank 5 being (50HP + 35MP) or something.

Keeping in mind this is only up while her steroid is active and only procs on successful autos.

This would also allow her to use her 3 much more (to allow her to keep up on clear), conserve gold for faster late game building due to less potions needed (and be out of laning stage faster despite having worse clear, balancing out the problem), without breaking her kit and turning her into a late game freelo god / nightmare to deal with.
