[Arthurian legend] How would King Arthur feel if he returned to defend modern Britain as foretold, only to find that it is now overrun by the Anglo-Saxons he supposedly fought?

Again, where's your sources? Cuz I got sources.

No offense but your sources are kind of a joke.

This might be the problem. I'm considering medieval Europe as a whole, which includes the cities, while you're focused on the little villages. I don't see why you're doing that when we're discussing whether or not an early-medieval monarch would be familiar with other ethnicities.

No, I am talking about cities, too.

I don't know, be a rich tourist? You act like those were only invented yesterday.

You say that, but then you bring up Musa, which is a really dumb argument, since:
a) Musa was a pilgrim, not a tourist. He wasn't going to Mecca because he wanted to see what was going on there, he went because it was his religious duty as a muslim.
b) He never went to Europe.

Why is it important for you that it not be multiethnic?

It doesn't matter to me, it's just how it is.

Because even if we exclude people of color we're left with loads and loads of different tribes, some of whom were Neanderthal. Can't get more multiethnic than that.

Do...do you actually believe there were neanderthal tribes living in Europe in the middle ages? You do realize than Neanderthals went extinct 40,000 years before then, right? As for the different tribes, that is technically true, though we are obviously talking about white and black people, not the Franks, Jutes, and Goths.
