Asian-American "Scholars" Discussing Race. Is there anything more embarrassing?

I agree, I've moved on. When I think about the Asian male and Asian female as collectives, I can see them drifting apart--at least in the West--and I think that's okay. Our race-based history, and when you zoom further out, our collective evolution, is quite a mess. Let's tip our hats to the white male hegemony, for now. This is not to be cynical. I'd say that we, as individuals, have a lot more to look forward to. And even if progress spans across a couple generations, we're still a part of that movement. Right not, we're becoming more aware that the deck is stacked against us--that's fine. All combinations of race and sex come up with unique challenges. But with that awareness, we have so much more agency in improving our lives. Keep getting after it.
