While I'm not entirely surprised that Ulta has been accused of reshelving returns, I was taken aback at how widespread it seems to be. Then I reflected and recalled two, possible three times in which it happened to me. The first item was that Maybelline blushed nudes palette. I never wear eyeshadow so it was a big deal that I even picked it up. When I got home and was about to play with it, I noticed uneven pattern on a couple of the pans. I waved it off, and tried a color that I liked (not the pans in question), but then wondered why it only had one brush for so many colors. Went to Google, saw that these came with two brushes. So I returned the item. The second time was with an ELF eyeliner that I ordered online. It had a clear fingerprint in it, so I returned in stores where the associate agreed with me that it was indeed a print. And today as I was going through my sample box, I pulled out two eyeshadow duos (that smashbox freebie from a while back) and they both looked swatched. Now this last example, I am not as sure about; but the previous examples I am firm on.

TLDR: Have you boughten an item from Ulta and realized it was used later when you opened it at home?
