ASK HERE! Daily Help, and Questions: February 05, 2016

I recently had a very strange reaction, and the only thing that really changed was that I had started going to hot yoga. Nothing else, no product changes or otherwise. I should have known my skin would be too sensitive for this nonsense and have stopped going since. But, I suddenly had so many bumps appear that it was alarming. They were not zits, and were not filled with anything, but simply flat red itchy bumps. I never breakout anywhere but my chin (hormonally of course), but these found their way onto my cheeks, forehead, neck, you name it. I was cleansing right after class, but I can only assume it might have something with being in that high of a temperature then going outside to the cold. I am not worried much about identifying them now, so no diagnosis is needed. In fact, they have healed up significantly since I stopped going but I seemed to have hit a plateau and they won't officially go away. I have tried thick moisturizers, honey-thick humectants, sheet masks, the works - but I still remain with stubborn itchy and scaly patches. It is healing up but the process is very very slow and, again, itchy! Skin is peeling off, which I guess means they are healing, but it takes everything in me to not scratch them and make it worse. I don't want to exfoliate for fear of opening the scales into scabs, and I fear some sort of acid exfoliation would dry me out even more. I am not even sure what to google for them because I don't know the official cause, so I am looking here from you wonderful ABers for some helpful hints. If you need the type of products I use listed, I am happy to provide. But since it wasn't caused by a product, I will save the trouble unless it's needed. I usually have pretty good skin and work hard to take care of it, so this is a bit embarrassing for me. Would appreciate any and all AB suggestions of products, etc. Thank you so much!
