Ask Metro Council to Support an Ordinance that would speed up fiber deployment!

So who over at channel 4 is getting paid by Comcast for there constant slanting against google fiber and digging. So google made a 200k mess. I think they are good for the damage cost. I also think they are good for the cost to ATT and Comcast.

I want to make it clear this is google cleaning up ATT and Comcast mess. They were given spots on the poles. They of course did not care cause there was no penalty from the pole owner normally NES if they put there line in the wrong spot.

Here comes Google fiber they got a great deal on pole access. They got the pole map. They went out and found it did not match what was on file. This allows ATT and Comcast to drag ass on fixing there error. This slows google fiber. This is a stall tactic. Att could rush out there to fix there error but won't, why cause there is no penalty just a required to fix. So they can wait to the very last moment to fix it and complain about it the whole time.

This to me should not be a city ordinance as much as it should be a NES rule change that says if your not in your spot on the pole prepare to pay the fright for it to be fixed by the new pole party at your cost.

This is telecoms being as much a barrier to entry as possible. They are the absolute worse to deal with even if your not google. I have to deploy leased lines at work and they can not fun 1800 foot of fiber with out it taking a small act of congress even if i am paying the freight.
