Asked people to be responsible for notifying that they'll be absent for holidays, realize these people really do not like me.

Even putting aside everything else, if none of the rest of it had happened, I probably still would not have wanted to play.

In my ideal world when I said "I think everyone should take responsibility for knowing their schedules" people woulda heard "If you celebrate Easter and you know your family celebrates Easter, and that you will drop other things to do that, then say as much and set that expectation." Cause that's what I do, and it's what my other group did. That's my bar, I don't think it's ludicrously high.

Obviously that was not their bar but like...if we can't agree on this sort of thing I probably wouldn't wanna play dnd with them. I need to know when things are happening, and if I have something that's in flux it becomes a stressor. I have amicably left a dnd group because of this before and didn't lose friends over it.
