Asking Bussiness majors !

I am doing accounting right now, but instead of becoming an accountant , I want to be either a securities or a criminal lawyer that focus on financial crime. I just found accounting to be potentially helpful in the future when I going into the legal field, a good backup if some how law doesn't work out, and I also like the subject itself. My career planning for now is to work in one of the big4 for a few years doing compliance and internal control (highly related to what I want to do in the legal side of things), get a CPA license along the way, and eventually go to law school.

Here is an advice for you, don't choose business just because you think business = money. I see many only choose it because of that, and they either don't excel or don't like their classes due to lack of real passion or motivation for the subject, which can make school exhausting after a while. Explore around before you settle on a subject, think about what you actually enjoy, what makes you happy, and what motivates you. I believe that if your truly passionate about something, you will excel at it, and someone will pay you for your expertise and work.
