I think with people for whom it is a challenging/deeply personal topic, they probably don’t spend an entire day playfully edging over sexy text with their partner in the first place.

Also, and this is assuming none of this is ill-intent, if my SO had been texting me all day about how much she wanted breadsticks, knowing I also love breadsticks, and we just kept going on and on all day about our favorite Italian place and all the appetizers we were going to get and which wines we wanted with dinner and dessert, how we should dress up for it, and how we couldn’t wait to slam on some Italian food this evening after work and I get home and she’s like “actually, I figured I’d just microwave some left over French fries for dinner.”…you wouldn’t be ultra disappointed?
