AskReddit thread about the weirdest unsolved mysteries

Mixing it up a bit ,but I won't be afraid to theorize that he wanted to jack everything in and try to start a new life elsewhere. What a perfect opportunity to do so: forget phone, go to retrieve, go missing. Maybe he was supposed to meet someone at that airport and they were supposed to fly into the skies and begin life anew. But they didn't show, or perhaps they drove there together but the other person got cold feet and backed out in the final minutes, leaving him having to think of a story and call his wife.

Maybe I'm being cynical, but what an interesting place to be 'found': at an airport, with a new phone, and a new haircut. Just leaving the old you behind.

The only that that concerns me is the supposedly verified head injury. Thoughts?
