Pitch was made around end 2019, started as its own fantasy idea…..the concept was reshaped into an Assassin's Creed

I’m about 76% sure this is how RPG Creed started.

Someone said “Hey, I’ve got an idea for an open world RPG that involves fighting mythical beasts and gods.”

Then someone else half-way into development said “Convincing people of a new series is hard. Hey, people are getting bored with our yearly Assassins Creed games, their buggy launches and lack of originally. How about instead of trying to innovate on our established gameplay model, let’s just make this an AC game?”

And then they high-fived and spent the rest of the day coming up with a really annoying main character for their new trilogy that has basically zero pay off in the end.
