Assholes at Berkeley

I go to the University of Spoiled Children smack bang in the most stuck-up city in the world and to tell you the truth, I never really come across people like the ones in OP, even when I leave campus.

Who the fuck talks over you and insults you when you're asking a question? And in an upper div CS class? The kids in my CS classes are the most reserved, friendliest people I know. That blows my mind. Pretty sure if someone tried to pull that shit in one of my discussions, someone else would call them out on it because it sounds so out of the ordinary.

No-one's cut in front of me since middle school, even the international kids understand that they can't get away with that shit. Sounds like Berkeley's just has irritable, angsty people that are fishing for confrontations or something.

Before enrolling I kind of expected USC to be pretentious and entitled, but mostly everyone just keeps to themselves until alcohol and drugs gets involved. I've almost never had a door or elevator not held open for. I mean there's enough shit to put up with in college why go out of your way to be passive aggressive to people who are going through the same thing you're going through? Doesn't make sense to me.

The biggest assholes I have to deal with are the administrative and hospitality workers, not the students. Maybe it's a SF/NYC thing. Every time I visit those two cities, my shoulders got sore from all the people shoulder barging past me to get where they needed to go.
