Assuming you have some of the stock races (elves, martians, humans, etc), how would they react if they met their counterparts from other series?

Most countries in Atantia would would probably be heavily divided over meeting Equestria. The conservative elements would consider Equestria to be a land of godless impiety, where the three Pony races mingle with each other in sin without paying even lip service to the divinely mandated racial and class hierarchies while failing to pay homage to the goddesses. On the other hoof there would be a large minority of educated, middle class Enlightenment intellectuals who would see the peaceful, egalitarian society of Equestria as a progressive utopia that Atantians should model themselves on and as proof that a country could be equal and free without bloody jacobin revolutions. Most likely you'd see cults springing up dedicated to the Princesses and the Elements of Harmony. Meanwhile Equestria would be horrified by how reactionary, oppressive and backwards Atantia would be. They'd probably team up with the aforementioned liberals to make the place more harmonious.

How Equestria and the Nocturne Empire would see each other could be really, really weird. While Equestria would be sympathetic to the Nocturne Empire's war goals against the rest of Atantia, the actual warmongering would be rather off-putting, and then there's the fact that Empress Galaxia is herself pretty much Atantia's Nightmare Moon, complete with the struggle between her light, white-coated sister Epona... I could definitely see Princess Luna being pretty freaked out by her, while Galaxia would be really, really emotionally affected by Luna's fall and redemption and the reconciled relationship with Celestia. Most likely Equestria and the Nocturne Empire would be uneasy allies, but once a common enemy is gone I'm not sure how long it would last.
