First of all, if the bible is all that is stopping you from doing those things I feel sad for you. Not doing those things is simply being a decent person, don't need a book to tell you that.

Because religion isn't about teaching morality to an obnoxious punk like yourself, you can keep your sorry's, i'm trying to explain it was invented to stop people from making sacrifices to the sun-god, to create the idea that at least our souls are equal in front of an almighty being, to stop savages from mindlessly running around and killing everyone and for society to remain stuck in the prehistoric era. That's what it was created for. And it worked, and it continues to work, to provide support, community and peace to a lot of people in a lot of places. You don't understand shit today, you just have more technology, people that dont have some kind of guidance and sense of belonging end up miserable, depressed and alone, like people start to, more and more, in so called 'evolved' western societies. They could use a little bit of religion. And if by some chance you dont need it to be happy then good for you, but theres hundreds of millions of people out there alone, unhappy and misguided that use religion to better their lives and their existance, so it's still very useful, and it's stupid, obnoxious immature and distasteful for ricky to mock it on tv in front of millions.
