This is not an answer. The question of theodicy is easily extended to cover the matter of God creating a world predicated on brutality (predatory animal behavior, etc.) and on disaster (volcanoes, tidal waves, etc.). You say “it’s the anatomy of the earth and has nothing to do with God”, which very much seems to leave us with a kind of Ancient Greek cosmology, in which the world has its shape and processes, and then along come the gods - subject to the “anatomy of the earth” themselves. Needless to say, this cannot be squared with the God of Christianity.
All mortal death is the consequences of original sin, even volcanoes, tsunami's, ect.
