Do atheists move to atheist areas in America and other western countries?

It's definitely spread out.

For the most part, western countries are still quite religious. However, there is a lot of freedom of religion and freedom from religion, which lends to free thought.

It's certainly not a dumb question. Our world history has been focused on people clinging to common, hive-beliefs due to a lack of social and scientific knowledge. It makes us feel "safe" to have answers. That's where religion dug in its claws.

Now that we're more progressive as a human race, the constriction of not believing in religion is far less punishable, and behaving as a human is not socially punitive.

You will find obstacles every step of the way, but social media binds everyone for every cause.

As long as everyone is cool with each other, religious or otherwise, the world will be a much better place.
