Atheists of Reddit, What is the Most Ridiculous Religious Story you've Heard?

Nearby there is a creation museum in a really religious area. It tries to "scientifically" prove the bible. My wife majored in religious studies, I'm a scientist. We both hate it there passionately. They cherry pick from both religion and science and get both horribly wrong. So it's not even "historically accurate" from a religious perspective. Like you can hold a bible and the versus the quote won't even be in the same book. Its horrifying because local schools bring kids there to teach them "the truth".

Of all the sins there my favorite one is that all animals were vegetarians including humans. the world was a lush paradise and it was only after the flood that animals and humans had to start eating meat to survive. I brought up the evolution of incisors and the fact the story of the flood is literally ripped from the story of gilgamesh. I was kicked out.
