ATK test result required at Chaengwattana immigration center?

I’m curious what other responses will say. Back in November they were adamant about taking a test and I was like “my guy…I’m vaccinated” and pulled out my CDC vaccine card.

He seemed royally confused for about 2 seconds before I started saying “already vaccinated my friend”, and pointing to the card before he let me in.

If you’re vaccinated, why are you taking an ATK test?

Truth be told, I wouldn’t go back to a Bangkok immigration office based on multiple individuals advice and my one and only experience there. It seems worth it to go spend a week in another province and get it done while there or have that be the sole purpose of a trip.

Apparently, Phuket and Pattaya are “a breeze”, compared to Bangkok.
