The attractiveness gap is a myth. Men are not less appealing than women because they take less care of themselves, women are just hypergamous.

Attractiveness is unevenly distributed in both sexes. If we use the 1-10 scale, and proportioned what percentage of each sex falls into each number, the majority of men would be in the 3-5 range, whereas the majority of women would be in the 5-7 range.

Men just are less attractive.

Wow, you really believe this? It just doesn't make sense genetically. How would that happen? What do you think of those famous okcupid graphs? The men's graph is a perfect bell curve. The women's graph is not just slightly skewed, it's a perfect downward slope. That's not what you would expect if women were just a little more attractive on average.

If you're just talking grooming, etc. then fine whatever. But if you really believe that the average woman is more attractive facially in some kind of objective way than the average man, that's just crazy. I thought that most women here claim that most couples are roughly looks matched?
