No but there are a bunch of people that are very vocal about how Star Wars was ruined by a black and female character (even though they did have arcs).

I’ve never encountered anyone who said that Star Wars sucked because the characters were black or female characters. The frequent opinion to me is that they were ruined by characters who were black or female. If anything the black and female parts helped because there was novelty, but it’s not like those are interesting characteristics in and of themselves. It’s ok for black and female characters to suck, if anything it’s because they were written by white dudes. Although almost all the characters were written poorly despite their race and gender.
