Audio Surfaces of Republican Rep. Jason Lewis Mocking Sexual Harassment Victim

I wonder how many people in here read everything. I'm going to try to post a rational unbiased response and view.

The comment he made,

“I don’t want to be callous here, but how traumatizing was it?” Lewis said. “How many women at some point in their life have a man come on to them, place their hand on their shoulder or maybe even their thigh, kiss them, and they would rather not have it happen, but is that really something that’s going to be seared in your memory that you’ll need therapy for? … You’ll never get over? It was the most traumatizing experience? Come on! She wasn’t raped.”

This is in regards to the women that claimed assault against Herman Cain in the 2012 election.

Is it mocking in context? I'll let you guys decide.

According to both stories, one of the women was paid a $35,000 termination settlement after Cain made "unwanted sexual advances" at an NRA event in a hotel, apparently after a night of heavy drinking. The NYT reports that Cain asked the woman to come up to his hotel room, and made repeated advances even after she declined.

Politico reports that the second woman reached a $45,000 termination agreement with the NRA to settle harassment claims against Cain. She is the same woman Cain was referring to when he recalled that employee had "falsely" accused him of sexual harassment after he "made a gesture saying" she was the same height as his wife.

This came out during his run for presidency and both accepted pay offs, so in reference to his remark, it really wasn't a traumatizing experience if that's all that happened.. they used it for a pay day.
